Original vintage 1950s black silk velvet cocktail dress.
The dress is beautifully draped in liquid silk velvet over a structured muslin bodice and underskirt. Cut with a straight across bandeau neckline featuring fine satiin straps and very fitted at the waist. The full skirt flares in a bell shape with the draping falling from the centre to meet a vertically draped hem with a satin rose corsage.
Fully lined.

Condition: in very good wearable condition, there is light overall wear. No marks or damage to note just slight pressing of velvet from storage. Dry cleaned and ready to wear.
