The Ballerina dress in black tulle.
I love ballet costumes, I love tulle and my favourite colour is usually black. To continue the star collection I wanted to take another look at the ballet dress. This time with a simplicity in just tulle, looking at volume, movement and shape.
The bodice is designed semi sheer with an elegant bandeau neckline and cinch belted waist making it petite to contrast against the fullness of the skirt. Made in layers of tulle the skirt is semi sheer revealing just the silhouette of the leg with a deep gathered hem adding a beautiful weight and movement.
There is always a special feeling to full skirts, especially tulle skirts.
The ballerina dress is available in the boutique here as a one of a kind piece. I hope to make this a continued design in additional colour ways.
