Who is Alexandra King?

A real person who designs and makes the dresses alongside head seamstress Anna Vickery at the boutique in Wells. Pop in and say hi!

Where are the garments and accessories made and how?

Every dress and product is designed, cut and sewn, one at a time in our Somerset studio. Alexandra King products are ONLY available direct from the website or boutique in Somerset.

Are items really 'one of a kind'?

If it says its 'one of a kind' on the product description then that really is the only one made in that design and fabric. We often use vintage fabrics or hand embellish designs with vintage trims so they can't be made in the same print or pattern again.
Your dress is truly unique and no one will ever have the same one as you. Something to treasure for generations to come.

Are there long order times?

Ready to wear items are shipped out within two days from ordering via Royal Mail or courier.

Made to measure and to order items are shipped from 4-8 weeks from ordering, please check item details for accurate lead times. We work on a first come first serve basis, if you would like to have your order made a priority please contact us before ordering.

For bridal and couture dresses with fittings please allow up to 6 months before your event so that we can schedule fittings and your consultation.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and all major credit and debit cards via a secure direct checkout powered by Stripe. We also accept Paypal via the website and BACS when working in person.
We never see your payment details nor do we store email addresses or any confidential information. We will never sell your details nor send you unsolicited emails.

UK items are sent via 1st class recorded delivery with Royal Mail
Overseas items are sent via International signed for Airmail or Airsure with Royal Mail.

All items will need to be signed for upon receipt.
