The first sketch from the gingham collection.
A combination of discovering so much about gingham, developing the designs and being incredibly busy with wedding season has put a bit of a delay in finishing this small collection of five gingham pieces.

'Fabric of the World Weaves Us Together'
Through my research I have learnt about the deep and vast history of gingham. The two colours weaving, crossing and blending together. The growing and weaving of cotton into cloth around the world and the wearing of gingham in every culture. It is a truly worldwide fabric, involving and being shared by us all.
