Inside the New Studio

A lot has happened in the last few months and I am finally settled into my new studio and have officially said goodbye to the little shop.

You will see from the pictures that the new space is a beautiful, light filled with space. The first floor of number 13 is a dream for me and the way I work with a front room for guests and a back room for my studio, all on one level. Originally an assembly rooms dating to the Georgian era with sky high ceilings, whats left of the original wallpaper and some gorgeous murals left from the previous tenant. (thank you!)
The main feature is the stunning floor to ceiling window overlooking the Cathedral green which fills the space with all that refreshing light.

The shop was wonderful, it moved my work forward and helped me learn about my practice and myself. But its also like a huge weight has been lifted and I am back to loving my work again uninterrupted by the logistics of a shop. And already my process and productivity has grown, having that physical space is so much easier to work with.

I have become a one woman factory as the Deadly collection has been a success thanks to the wonderful women there. I couldn't be happier designing and sewing away all day in my private studio.

Please note: The studio is not open to the public and is strictly by pre-arranged appointment only.
