Design your Prom Dress 2018 competition has launched.
Following the huge success of last years prom competition we are again inviting all year 11, 12 and 13 students to submit their dream dress (or outfit) designs.
The winner will have their design made to measure by the Alexandra King atelier in Wells, Somerset.
Here are all the details you need to enter ...
1. You must be in year 11, 12 or 13
you can design for yourself or a friend, any gender.
2. Submit your design by 1st March 2018
you can submit your design via email (small files please!)
to alexandra@alexandra-king.com
or post to Alexandra King, 8 Sadler Street, Wells, Somerset BA5 2SE
or drop it into our shop in Wells.
The design can be sketched, collaged, digital, sculpted, described in writing .... or even a short film. Any way you can communicate your design idea will be accepted.
3. Attach your details
Please include your name, school and contact details so if you win we can tell you!
That's it.
We will be judging the designs after the competition closes on the 1st March 2018 and will be announcing the winner on Monday 5th March 2018.
The winner will have their design made by us at our Wells studio. You will get to discuss your design, choose the fabrics and see it being made for you or your model. Once it's ready, your design will be photographed in a styled shoot and be given to you to wear to prom and keep forever.
All entries receive a 20% discount on their prom dress order.
