Original vintage late 1940s black velvet New Look ear dress.
This elegant dress is designed perfectly with a collared sweetheart neckline, three quarter length fitted sleeves and a shaped bodice that nips in at the waist. The full circle skirt falls beautifully from the waist with a long split to reveal a pencil skirt underneath. Looks gorgeous in movement.
Style with suede or velvet peep toe heels, and Dior style tilt hat for full 40s elegance.

Condition: good wearable condition, no significant marks or damage of note, light wear overall. As with most vintage items, this dress has been previously worn and is over 60 years old.
