Emma is another of our musician brides who was looking for a couture wedding dress to be designed just for her.
We tried our bias cut '1930' dress and Emma instantly fell in love with the 1930s aesthetic. Long bias cut lines, beautiful draping in luxurious fabrics that have that perfect lustre. The word velvet was mentioned and I was immediately inspired looking through swatches of silk velvets. Emma chose a delicate silver grey with a dusky pink, two colours that speak elegance and romance.
The final wedding gown was made in a sandwashed silk satin for the under slip with a silk velvet over dress and silk velvet sash belt. A matching dusky pink soft bolero jacket was made for the evening when Emma performed Viola. A blush grey full length veil was made for the ceremony.
