Deadly is the Female

Discover the collection designed and made for Deadly is the Female boutique in Frome, Somerset here.
In 2019 Alexandra King designed a capsule collection for the famous Frome womenswear boutique, Deadly is the Female.
This has continued with limited edition dresses and gowns made in Somerset and sold exclusively at Deadly is the Female including the 'Claudia' dress. A one size fits most design that quickly became a wardrobe staple for customers.
Deadly is the Female is all about lifting self esteem for punks, pin ups and femme fatales. Vintage inspired with modern values, the boutique is ran by Claudia and her wonderful assistants. I would recommend a trip to every woman.
Repair and Care guide for your 'Alexandra King for Deadly is the Female' garments.
Care:
We recommend washing your plain coloured Claudia dresses before wear to remove any excess dye. Similar to jeans.
Please wash your dresses at 30 degrees. Hang to air dry and steam, don't iron.
Sequin and 'hand wash only' garments can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
A dry cleaner can also be used, who will bring your dress back to as new.
Be careful of abrasive bags on the jersey dresses and rough nails to prevent pulls. Some types of tights can also pill the hem of the dress. This can be trimmed free of charge.
Repairs: Please drop repairs into the the Frome boutique with your receipt or send an email to info@alexandra-king.com to arrange.
Jersey Claudia dresses can have hem tidy trims free of charge. Some other repairs are also free of charge with just a postage fee.
Alterations also available click here for an alterations list.
Disposal:
These dresses may be glamourous but we also make them to be as sustainable as possible too.
Please love me, wear me, repair, share and recycle me. Once your dress can't be repaired or shared any further (in 100 years!) please contact info@alexandra-king.com to arrange collection for recycling. The dress materials will be harvested for future garments or donated to crafts projects. We aim to prevent any garments going to landfill.
