Original vintage 1950s couture cocktail dress in lace and draped silk jersey.
This beautifully designed and made dress is created in the finest fabrics. Cut with a sweeping neckline, lower at the back with hand draped pleating under the bust and over the waist. Inside the dress is boned and lined in muslin. The very full tiered skirt flares from the asymmetric waist in two layers of delicate Chantilly lace lined with silk organza and tulle.
Lined in rayon.
Style with kitten heels and simple accessories. The dress deserves all the attention.

Label: sadly no label found except an ILGWU American made label. The construction and design are too good not be a designer.

Condition: in good wearable condition. Repairs to the lace to one side and a couple of places at the hem. Cleaned and ready to wear.
