I haven't posted for a while. What with everything of the last few years, I have lost my creative mojo. I still make dresses but I look back enviously to the time I was working on this blue dress in the stillness of 2020.
This blue silk duchess satin, which became the Brier rose dress, was hand painted with soft pink old roses. I loved the way it stood, half slumped in my studio at the time. All that crumpled satin in romantic blue folds.
I'm ready to come back to my work. With the help of a friendly ghost, I'm gently getting excited again and finding new projects. She's bringing me back to the joy of dresses and myself.
