Holographic Disco Dress

Images of the stunning Pat Cleveland from Vogue and studio 54 and the sensational Bianca Jagger photographed by Andy Warhol. I have to my shame only really just discovered Pat Cleveland. Shes the woman with the most style at Studio 54 and I love how timeless she looks. It looks like it must have been the most fabulous place of fun and creativity. I hope there are club kids out there tonight dressing up and being fabulous in every way.

Looking at these images led to using this amazing holographic fabric I found, they would have totally worn this then if you could get it then.
Holo has been 'on trend' for a whole with the revisit to the 90s rave scene and all things shiny. It reminds me of these amazing Barbie dresses that had this iridescent plastic sheen and nods to the original Blade Runner designs of the dark plastic future, the use of holograms and futurism. I love finding holographic stickers in the street, secretly stuck to the sides of cable boxes, I always hope its the tag of some super cool underground club.

Instead of using this shimmering fabric for leggings or something dull, a full length 'studio 54 halter gown with open back works so much better.
