This beautiful vintage 1950s monochrome flocked dress has been calling to me to try on in my studio. I feel like I haven't tried on a dress in ages, winter has been so bleak.
The sun came out and on it went for some styling.
I love how huge the skirt is and the rustling of the taffeta. It's a classic early 50s cut with Audrey Hepburn ballerina style dropped waist and elegant V neckline.
The dress is pretty on its own with heels, would be great for summer events.
Big sweaters with big skirts and ballet flats for low key cocktail dress wearing.
Layering for colder days out with a sweater, jacket and boots.
Topping with a raspberry crop top to make the monochrome pop.
