The Sketch for the Black Magic cocktail dress. The ideas for this dress came initially from the brilliant star flocked tulle I had and researching 1920s Halloween ads. I loved the layering of the tulle over blues creating a starry midnight blue.
The first dress in this collection was designed as a one of a kind. Layering the star tulle over the blue hourglass with a silhouette illusion to the shape. The strapless bandeau neckline gives an elegant line with a hand pleated bodice creating lots of detail.
The full circle skirt is cut to ballerina length with a crinoline hem adding structure.
