The week I had the opportunity to do a photo workshop with the best portrait street photographer around Alex Daniels aka @alexdan.xyz here on instagram.
It was pretty magical.
Rewind a few weeks ..... I'd lost my confidence and was in the creative slump of wondering what's the point of all this fashion stuff ...... This is what its all for.
The beautiful people of Bristol brought me so much joy.
Alex was a fantastic, kind, patient and honest tutor. If you ever are lucky enough to be asked to be photographed by Alex, never so no!!!! He brings the beauty out in all.
Book him for a portrait or a wedding here, Worth every penny.
Here's the photos. I love the details people add to their outfits, pieces of jewellery, beauty spots, nails, piercings, socks, bag charms and hair curls. It's all so pretty.

This girls wonderful dress was her Mum's skirt from Florida worn as a dress. 
All in the details, the fine eyeliner dots and tattoos with a simple black vest. So cool.
Red leather shoes, I ran after this girl to capture these shoes.
One of the first things Alex said was don't put people in direct sunlight, he was right but I had a bright wall and I panicked. Thankfully it all came out beautiful and the breeze helped me.
This lady had some great friends too who let me make portraits.

I love seeing people out together, all bringing different looks. Love the denim so much.
The layering, so effortless and chic.
Girl with bagels, this girl reminded me of Edith Sitwell, a Modigliani and dutch masterpiece. Loved her shoes too.
Twins! Polkadots! I loved both of these girls style, same same but different and the matching phone case was perfection. Again the details of the bracelets, the pink hair and scrunchie, so considered.
These ladies just stepped out of performance practice at the island. The great Amy G, ariel hoopist and Em.
Once again, the details. The simple knit dress, the nails, the shoes, she had little Chanel earrings all lovely.
The most patient girl, Alex set the lighting after seeing me put her in the shadows. I loved the simple white vest and jeans, white wires and cigarette. Don't smoke guys! 
I'm not too into menswear but liked this guys stripes and the pink table.
This lady just had great stripey trousers too and I love the plastic Louis Vuitton Bag.
I loved these trousers, by Arodazi. And the blue with the lemon yellow, just looked great.
These girls bought me so much joy. Twins again, the looks and attention to detail were everything. @frankie_paye and @bellapaye with @brunobomp

Once again those details. Two girls shopping, both in white with denim. I loved the headscarf, the crystal belt, the delicate jewellery, especially the anklet just peeking below the jeans of her friend.
Again, the joy this couple brought to my day. Groovy Chick and Zebra shirt.

Straight out of a 60's movie, the vintage mini dress, the hair, the eyes, the scarf, the tattoo... beautiful.
Finally this pair brought more style. I loved her delicate black lace skirt with the sweatshirt and boots. The dragonfly ring and soft pink hair. And the hoops. All so pretty. This lady is a very talented film maker in Bristol. Isis Blake.
And her friend, such great energy - the hair, the silver, the bag, the style all great on camera. Loved the disco tattoo.
