The sketches
Last year Becky (of the fabulous Branch and Bloom) asked me to design a dress for her styled shoot that would compliment her beautiful flowers.
Branch and Bloom are best known for romantic, bohemian flowers with a high end artisan finish.
I wanted to design something that would work in this vibe with a relaxed, 1970s, Californian come Somerset festival inspiration.
The final design was a delicate strappy 1930s style sequin gown and a statement embroidered sequin robe with 1920s bohemian tassels.
Each available in the ready to wear bridal section as one of a kind pieces.
The photo shoot with Branch and Bloom was absolutely stunning, photographed by Katrina Bartlam.
I adored the floral hoop which would be gorgeous for an outdoor or even indoor focus for a wedding ceremony. And that swing! Such beautiful ideas here all displayed at Midelney Manor.
The hair and make up was relaxed and beautiful on model Evie Robertson. with the incredibly crafted hair accessories by Clare Lloyd.
Everything came together to create a really perfect succinct look that would be so good for any country wedding with style. This is what happens when you get really great quality creatives together!
