Antique White Cotton Pintuck Skirt

Original antique edwardian cotton skirt with pin tuck detailing and broiderie anglaise hem.

This skirt has been reclaimed from an antique Christening gown, is made with a stretch waistband and shows the beautiful detail in the pleats that graduate towards the hem. 
A delicate embroidered scallop trims the hem. 

Style over slips or layer under skirts for summer.

Fabric: fine cotton lawn 

Label: unsigned, hand made.

Colour: ivory, off white

Condition: in good wearable condition, light marking, delicate repairs as expected with age. 

As with most vintage items, this skirt has been previously worn and is over 100 years old.
Re-claimed by 'Ditsy Vintage' and waistbands stitched at my studio.
