Original Antique 1910s White cotton muslin dress with embroidered hem.
The dress features a square neckline trimmed with fine lace and bobble needlework edging. Matching cuffs are trimmed and embroidered by hand with thread. The design of the dress is made up of an under dress with a loose top attached at the shoulders.
A deep panel of fine embroidery decorates the hem, edged in scallops.
This would make a stunning wedding gown.
Fastening: metal snap fastenings to the back of the dress and top layer
Fabric: light muslin cotton, semi sheer
Label: no label present. Hand made. The previous owner was a Miss Hilda Chinn of Wells, Somerset, UK whom kept the dress from her younger days.
Condition: in good wearable condition, no marks or damage. Dry cleaned and ready to wear. As with most antique items, this dress has been previously worn and is over 90 years old.
