Original vintage 1950s pink tulle prom dress.
The dress has a fitted sweetheart bodice with ruffled bust and matching tulle gathered straps. The waist is shaped and the skirt is full falling to the ankles at ballerina length. Trimmed with crystal studded rhinestones and white guipure lace.
Fully lined with a muslin underskirt.
Fastening: metal zipper to the centre back.
Fabric: cotton bobbinet tulle and rayon lining
Label: Unsigned, no label. Beautifully made.
Colour: baby ink and white
Condition: in good wearable condition, a couple of small holes in the tulle, mainly hidden by the double layering. Dry cleaned and ready to wear.
As with most vintage items, this dress has been previously worn and is over 50 years old.
