Vintage 1950s Raspberry Silk Tulle Sequin Dress

Original Vintage 1950s Raspberry Pink Silk Tulle Sequin Cocktail Dress.

This early 1950s silk tulle dress is alink a ballet costume, so beautiful and delicate. 

The dress has a fitted sweetheart bodice with a piped waistline and full circle tulle skirt. The bodice and hips of the dress are embellished with iridescent matching sequins in a zig zag shape all around. 

Fully lined with boned support and taffeta skirt.

Fabric: silk tulle with rayon taffeta lining

Colour: deep raspberry pink

Fastening: replaced plastic zipper

Label: unsigned 

Age: original early 1950s

Condition: in good vintage condition, light wear with delicate repairs to hem of skirt. Cotton underskirt has been removed light signs of fabric remain and the zip has been replace for a matching colour zip. 

Dry Cleaned and Ready to Wear.

As with most vintage items, this dress has been previously worn and is over 50 years old.

Size: Small - there is a 2" seam allowance at the back of the dress to take out if needed.
