This dress is a stunning example of print and pattern, sadly with no label to be found.
The dress has a silk twill bodice with faux loop buttons and a sharply pleated skirt with chiffon overlay. The bishop sleeves are also in the pleated silk chiffon with fitted silk twill cuffs. Bees cover the saturated print of pink and orange and blue. Fully lined.
Fabric: printed silk twill and chiffon
Fastening: zip back
Label: unsigned - Bill Gibb was known to use bee motifs in the 1970s however this piece is more vibrant and I cant find a match to the print. The quality of silk and design leads to being a designer couture piece.
