Emily was one of our first brides of the season being married in June at Huntstile Farm in a gorgeous bohemian wedding.
Emily was looking for a dress that was cool, light and fresh in a matte fabric that still looked bridal without being like anything anyone else would have. Emily is a jewellry designer and wanted the dress to reflect her style. Its not easy for us designers to find wedding dresses!
After brainstorming ideas I designed a box crop top with a full ballgown style skirt that would be fitted at the waist creating a stepped silhouette accentuating the small waist. For a change during the day a long sleeved fitted bodice was designed with a take on the traditional button back.
We sourced the most beautiful white broderie anglaise in a pure cotton that had a pretty scalloped hem and lined the set in a white cotton lawn.
As Emily was local to our Wells boutique we had the treat of doing a photoshoot and practice styling for the day. Emily made her headpiece and bracelets and added real flowers to her hair.
